The results from this survey will enable a comparison to be made to the 2004 survey. This will give an up to date picture of ICT in the sector, and identify changes and trends in its use.
Social networking is about creating online communities who are interested in the similar things, have the same likes or are striving for the same objectives. It's a fantastic way of creating awareness of a particular issue, creating a consensus of opinion or learning about new ideas.
Following the extremely popular IT workshops to ‘make the most out of Microsoft Outlook’ further workshop have now been scheduled due to popular demand. Additional workshops have been scheduled for Thursday 9th September and Wednesday 15th September 2010.
Workshops are aimed at ‘Voluntary and Community Organisations’ based within Herefordshire or Worcestershire, and aimed at Accidental Techies (people who look after IT, or have some responsibility for IT within their organisation, yet don’t come from a trained IT background).
Whether the funding for your organisation comes from a grant giving trust, through delivery of contracts or though trading those that hold the purse strings will want to know that you are best placed to deliver the work.
Demonstrating this is not always straight forward; obtaining feedback from users can be time consuming and is not guaranteed to produce the conclusive evidence that you require.
